The Northside Urban Coalition is a Drug Free Communities project of the Hawthorne Neighborhood Council’s Health & Well-being initiative. NSUC is focused on preventing youth substance use in North Minneapolis and educates them to build trust in authority, live stress free and maintain a safe living and working environment.
The Northside Urban Coalition project will address:
Professionals and Community partners will discuss vaping and why people do vs those who don’t vape. We will also explore the underage smoking increase.

Each one hour long Zoom Webinar will feature our 2 speakers giving a 40 minutes PowerPoint Presentation followed by a 15 minutes Q&A by the attendees utilizing the chat box. All five of the hour long Zoom webinars will feature the same information. These events are FREE and are open to the public. The Office of National Drug Control Policy’s (ONDCP) National High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Program Office (NHPO) and A Division for Advancing Prevention and Treatment (ADAPT) are pleased to invite you to participate in the 4th Annual Prevention Summit, titled Advancing Substance Use Prevention in HIDTA Communities: Standards, Strategies, and Support.
