Each one hour long Zoom Webinar will feature our 2 speakers giving a 40 minutes PowerPoint Presentation followed by a 15 minutes Q&A by the attendees utilizing the chat box. All five of the hour long Zoom webinars will feature the same information. These events are FREE and are open to the public. In the Early Stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, there was an overwhelming amount of research regarding COVID-19 and
health outcomes for tobacco users. Knowing there are negative health impacts intertwined with COVID-19 and tobacco
users, we were curious to see if young people changed their usage due to the pandemic.
On Friday, July 17th the Hawthorne Neighborhood Council and Al McFarlane of Insight News hosted the Northside Urban Coalition Meeting.
“The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office is dedicated to stopping the spread of opioid use and curbing this epidemic. We have a real opportunity to address this problem during incarceration. We want to help and treat people at the jail, so they leave with a clear mind and with tools to help them continue their recovery.”
