In the Early Stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, there was an overwhelming amount of research regarding COVID-19 and
health outcomes for tobacco users. Knowing there are negative health impacts intertwined with COVID-19 and tobacco
users, we were curious to see if young people changed their usage due to the pandemic.

12th Annual Community Empowerment Through Black Men Healing Conference

We want to invite you to the upcoming 12th Annual Community Empowerment Through Black Men Healing Conference. The theme of the conference is the “Intersections of Community Health”. The objective will be to take a deeper look at issues like racial trauma, domestic violence, healthcare, policing, and their relationship to community health. The conference will also explore strategies that will lead to community empowerment and healing. We realize that a stronger, thriving African American community improves the health of the community and the society as a whole.

30 Days of Prayer: Healing the Heart of Our City.

30 Days of Prayer: Healing the Heart of Our City is a month-long, African American-led collaborative where people of all faiths and good will can come together throughout the day for 8 minutes and 46 seconds of silent prayer/meditation to add a vital spiritual factor to all the strategic thinking, policy proposals and investments being considered.
