Hennepin County allocates $15 million to small business relief and recovery efforts.

Yesterday, the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners allocated $15 million for small business relief and recovery efforts, including adding $10 million to the Hennepin County Small Business Relief Fund for emergency financial relief. An additional $5 million will go to future business recovery efforts.

Small businesses can now apply for grants for up to $10,000. Additional funding will be available for businesses with no employees through a separate application process that will be announced in the coming days. 

Applications are due by May 8, 2020 at noon. Updated application guidelines have been posted to the website.
